Beach Break is a coffee stall based on the beaches in Hawaii, Maui. They sell locally made artwork to promote small businesses, and have a strong sense of community and giving back to the world. They were looking for a new logo, repeated pattern and a business card that would help promote them to a larger audience and to welcome in new business. The client I worked with wanted a playful word mark logo that would use a display, sans serif typeface. For the repeated pattern they wanted something that represents the beach elements like the coast line, shells, sea-spray, in a playful and colourful nature. I used Adobe Illustrator to create a beach-esque logo and pattern, using seashells and starfish and a colour pattern correlating directly to a sandy shore. I created a mockup business card to show how the logo and pattern would work in use.
