Flash skills is an educational company that creates learning games for adults who are wanting to explore and understand new topics in a fun and interactive way. Their product line includes decks of flash cards, each based on a different subject. They want to create artwork that will be included in a deck of flash cards based on Typefaces. They are commissioning multiple designers to create two flash cards each which will then be collated into a set, and they are to be based on a typeface allocated by the client. The style of the design would be heavily influenced by typeface. Since the target audience would be adults who are interested in Typography/Design but are new to the subject, I used Adobe Illustrator and a monochromatic colour scheme to create two interesting patterns with a sophisticated look. I also used an intriguing layout to provide information on my two chosen fonts: Times New Roman and Proxima Nova.
